Any time a member changes their mailing address, phone number, or email, it is important that they update their information with MEPP, either online through Your Pension Profile or by contacting the Member Services Centre.
Receiving a MEPP Pension
If a member lives within Canada or has a Canadian bank account, they can receive their MEPP pension paid via direct deposit. In addition to being more convenient for members to receive their money, using direct deposit means that postal disruptions will not affect their payments, and there is no risk of theft, loss or other delays.
If a member does not have a Canadian bank account, they will receive their MEPP pension via cheque mailed to their current home address that we have on file. This cheque will be issued in Canadian funds.
Members can review how they receive their pension payments and update their personal and banking information at any time by logging in to Your Pension Profile.
