Leaving The Plan

If a member leaves their MEPP employer, the member’s benefit options depend on their age and the amount of pensionable service they have. Options can include leaving benefits in MEPP or transferring them to another plan. If a member is over the age of 55 and vested, they may be able to begin a reduced pension right away.
