2018 MEPP Stakeholder Governance Sessions

Good news! The 2018 Management Employees Pension Plan (MEPP or the Plan) Stakeholder Governance Sessions have been scheduled for Friday October 26, 2018.

The Management Employees Pension Board (the Board) continues to take a proactive approach to stakeholder communications, which includes regular semi-annual newsletters, ad-hoc newsletters, quarterly updates and consultations with stakeholders, as needed.

Members and employers are invited to attend our 2018 Stakeholder Governance Sessions in Edmonton. This is your chance to:

  • Meet Board members, Board staff, the Plan actuary and investment consultant;
  • Learn more about the Board and the Plan; and
  • Ask questions and provide feedback directly to the Board.

You will have the choice of attending one of two sessions, held in downtown Edmonton, on October 26. The morning session will run from 9 to 11 a.m. and the afternoon session from 1 to 3 p.m. Please note one session (a.m. or p.m.) might be cancelled if attendance is low.

Registration is open until 4 p.m. (MST) on Wednesday October 10, 2018. We encourage you to register early and secure a place as there will be limited space for each session. However, if your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, we kindly ask that you cancel your (free) ticket to provide the opportunity for other interested MEPP members and employers to attend.

Time: 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.*
Location: Downtown Edmonton - additional venue details available at online pre-registration.

*Please arrive earlier in order to allow time for sign-in. The meeting will start on time.

IMPORTANT: The meeting is being held in secure government facilities. As such, pre-registration (with first and last names) is mandatory and photo identification or a Government of Alberta employee badge is required for sign-in and entry into the meetings.
